Anti-wrinkle injections

Wrinkle relaxing injections are the most requested non-surgical treatment worldwide. Wrinkles are lines or creases in the skin which are caused by the movement of our facial muscles which contract and cause folds in the skin. There are two types of wrinkles: static wrinkles and dynamic wrinkles.

Static wrinkles are visible when the face is at rest and not moving. These can be caused by  sun damage, smoking or through facial expressions (i.e. dynamic lines that become permanent over time).

Dynamic wrinkles occur during facial expressions such as smiling and frowning.

What are anti-wrinkle injections?

Anti-wrinkle injections (Botulinum toxin injections) can be used to treat static and dynamic lines. These cause the facial muscles to relax and reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles. Anti-wrinkle injections are a popular alternative to surgical treatments.
